Get Lit! will transport your mind to realms unknown with FREE literature pop-up events, intermittently, around the city. Tall tales, short stories, dramatic prose, poetry, sci-fi, satire, detective fiction, famous essays, powerful speeches (you name it—seriously, we’d love to hear from you) delivered with sparkle and skill by our company of players.

A lovely garden and a “proud, pied April” dusk: the perfect setting to celebrate Shakespeare's birthday-- Friday, April 24 @ 7:30 PM. Join us outside in the lovely garden courtyard at First Central Congregational Church for a party and Get Lit! performance celebrating the life and works of the Bard!

We'll cover it all from comedy to tragedy. From the rousing to the romantic, and the powerful to the quietly captivating. All outside in the fresh air and twinkling lights as dusk sets in. If you are a lover of Shakespeare you won't want to miss this magical and majestic night.
